Alexandra Santana Sorensen to leave Evolva

Reinach, Switzerland, 11 November 2011 – Evolva Holding SA (SIX: EVE) announced today that, for personal reasons, Alexandra Santana Sorensen will leave the company as of 29 February 2012. Dr. Sorensen’s responsibilities will be reallocated amongst the existing management team.

Alexandra was one of the founders of Evolva and has been part of the management team since 2004. She was initially responsible for the development of Evolva’s technology and later on for pre-clinical development.

Neil Goldsmith, CEO and Managing Director of Evolva Holding SA commented, “Alexandra has played an important role in bringing Evolva to where we are today both in terms of the technology and our products. Evolva owes a lot to her commitment and expertise. We regret that she now has decided to leave us but we understand the reasons for her need to step down. Thanks in part to her efforts, Evolva now has a broad and experienced management team, including Prof Dr. Jutta Heim on technology and Dr. Norbert Bender on clinical development and we are in very good shape to handle the reallocated tasks. We wish her all the best for the future.”
